P.E. Games
To finish the week of classes I set up an obstacle course for the students. It started out with very low hurdles for the students to jump over. The next section was a balancing beam that led to a large matt where they had to do an alligator craw. After the crawl that had to run through a tunnel and finished the course by jumping or diving over a matt wall. The landing area was also a large matt so they would have a safe and soft landing! The kids absolutely loved this. It is also very easy to adapt for students with disabilities.

Obstacle courses are so much fun for students. If I were to have a vote on what to play each day I feel that the students would choose obstacle courses 9 times out of 10. If you do not have mats to use you can still use things like cone hurdles, things to slide under, picking up objects and placing them in something, and executing certain skill related objectives. I have learned to be resourceful when there is a lack of equipment.
