P.E. Games
To finish the week of classes I set up an obstacle course for the students. It started out with very low hurdles for the students to jump over. The next section was a balancing beam that led to a large matt where they had to do an alligator craw. After the crawl that had to run through a tunnel and finished the course by jumping or diving over a matt wall. The landing area was also a large matt so they would have a safe and soft landing! The kids absolutely loved this. It is also very easy to adapt for students with disabilities.

Pin Soccer
A great game that we played today was pin soccer. Every rule that you use for standard soccer applies in this game. The difference is that there are no goals. I order to score you must knock down the opposing team's pin. Another thing that I also like to do is throw in extra balls so that everyone gets a chance to be part of the game. I start out with one , then gradually thrown in up to four balls depending on the class age and size.

Physical Education
Today in one of my P.E. classes we played one of my favorite games from when I was a youngster in P.E. The game is called spaceships and aliens. In the center court are kids with dodge balls which are the spaceships and they throw the balls at the kids as they run by, which are the aliens. If they get hit by a ball they have to join the spaceships in the middle until we are down to one person. What types of games do you remember playing in P.E. or if you are a teacher what types of games do you students enjoy?
